The Manufacturing Process

From grain to atta — with care at every stage.

From sourcing and cleaning to milling and packing, each stage plays an important role in delivering the finished product.

    Sourcing

    Wheat is bought as whole grain from Indian growers and brought to the mill. Grain arriving at the mill is checked before it is accepted.

    Cleaning & selection

    Grain is cleaned and sorted to remove dust, husk and foreign matter. Only cleaned wheat moves forward to milling.

  3. Stone chakki grinding wheat

    Milling

    The wheat is stone milled in the traditional chakki manner, which keeps the whole grain — bran, germ and endosperm — together in the finished atta.

    Processing & handling

    Milled atta is handled in a clean, covered environment and checked for texture and consistency before it moves to packing.

    Packing

    Atta is filled and sealed into packs. Each pack is printed with net weight, ingredients, nutritional information, batch number, manufacturing date and use-by date.

Traceability

Every pack can be traced back to its production details.

Turn your pack over. The batch number, manufacturing date and use-by date are printed together on the back panel. Quoting the batch number lets us identify the production run your product came from.
